It is definitely not a walk in the park—a lot of pruning and chastising but I am grateful for an unwavering love, a listening and doting Father.
I learnt how to demand the best for myself and take it when it comes, I learnt what love and sisterhood meant in another dimension.
Becoming confident was very important for me, as the fact I was often the youngest or the only woman in a number of meetings can be unsettling.
This year has broken me, helped me stand up, slapped me across the face (and not in the good way) and taught me how to simply be still.
So this isn’t the end, but rather the beginning. This is my year of self-development and investing in myself.
