Dusk: Oma

Dunno how it all started. Can’t remember how it all began but I knew it was going to be a wonderful year.

March to be precise I got my appointment letter in an oil and gas company just weeks after NYSC. There wasn’t even a form of connection just Gods divine providence.

Almost lost it too around June, my termination letter (we were 12) was even typed. Went through hell then. Wasn’t paid for about 4months. But then God’s hand came in again and everything was back to normal. I still marvel and like ask myself ‘did that really happen’ when I think of those four horrid months.

I recall I got wiser, I’m now an “adult”. I mean when you go through ‘fire’ and come out unscathed you’d actually become stronger, purposeful, determined and above all able to persevere through all things.

During the last quarter of the month, I decided its time to get a Masters degree. At first I was skeptical about the course I had in mind but when I think of how far I’d go with it I’d relax a bit, plus being someone that loves humanitarian works, I’d say it will be a plus to my life and the society at large.

I went to Canaan Land for ‘SHILOH’ which was the high point of the year.

This year has changed me a lot. I’m more closer to God than I was before, I mean we actually have this intimacy that’s so peaceful and heart-warming. I just love the Lord.

There was no loss of life or property. Everyone in the family got something to be really, really thankful for.

I’d say its been a great-satisfying-downcasted-spiritfilled-purposeful year. Yea, I’m so proud to be among those entering into 2013 hale and hearty. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to be doing this; writting about my year.
I won’t say it’s the best year I’ve ever had but I’d say 2013 will be the icing on the cake to this one and I’m so everly grateful.

Love and kisses xx

Thanks for keeping it short and sweet Oma  🙂

I love to learn. I love to teach. For me the two are the same.
